ABOUT ME

I’m Katie, I’m the face behind Dashing Hounds. After leaving the Corporate Travel World I wanted to pursue my own passions and that was working with dogs. I trained at an Award winning salon in London to receive my City and Guild qualifications along with undertaking First Aid training.

I then opened my modern well equipped and fully insured dog grooming salon at my house in May 2020.

I offer a personalised one to one grooming environment with my undivided attention, this creates a calm and stress free experience. No cage, just a comfy bed to relax!

Each dog that comes through my door is treated as one of my own. I take into consideration each dog’s needs.

It’s such a rewarding job, meeting different breeds and giving them a well-deserved pamper.

Outside of the salon, you can usually find me exploring the Ashdown Forest with my two girls – Working Cocker Spaniels, Tia and Peggy.
